Highlighting Basics & Video TourHow to add highlight: Watch a short video Diigo highlights can be used to mark important information on a webpage, just like you'd on paper. Highlighted text or pictures are also automatically "clipped" to the "My Bookmarks" section. With Diigo highlighting and clipping:
To add highlight to any part of the webpage, follow two simple steps:

To highlight & Clip Video / Flash MediaDiigo now supports clipping and playing your favorite videos & flashes! To bookmark, highlight and clip a video, select Bookmark » "Collect Media" on the toolbar. Click the "Collect" link on the upper right-hand corner of the video to save to Diigo. Once saved successfully, the link will indicate "Collected".

Here is a sample screenshot for the default Background Color Change: Aggregate Clippings - Extract Highlights & AnnotationsSuppose you are doing research for school work, or for shopping a camera, or for planning a vacation, and you have highlighted key snippets of information across many web pages, Diigo allows you to collect those key pieces of information together quite easily. First, go to My Bookmarks on the Diigo website, and check the bookmarks from which you want to aggregate clippings, and then select "EXTRACT ANNOTATIONS" from the "More Actions" pull-down menu. The clippings will be arranged in bullet points, perfect for printing or saving as an html document.
